Purpose:
I realized that in the 20 years that I’ve been in the IT industry, I’ve forgotten a lot things. Many of them are for technologies that I no longer need to support. However, there are occasions that I need to refer back to a particular project or technical article or thought process and I find myself scouring my old emails, web history or that particular combination of keywords on Google which will get me what I needed.
As a result, I figured it might be worth blogging about incidents (after the fact). This serves both the dual purpose of giving me a single location for reference in the future, and also shares that information for others.
